Where is the house?
In Housseras, 112 rue du Haut Pré, a quiet village in the Vosges between Épinal (30 minutes) and Saint-Dié-des-Vosges (30 minutes). Rambervillers and its shops are 5 minutes away.
How far is Lake Gérardmer?
About 40 minutes by car. Enjoy the walks around the lake, water sports and restaurants, then come back to the peace of the house and its private hot tub.
Are the hot tub and sauna private?
Yes, entirely: they are reserved for guests of the house, with no time slots, for the whole stay. The hot tub seats 7 on the terrace, the indoor sauna 5.
How many people does the house sleep?
Up to 8 guests, plus a baby: two 160 cm beds and two 90 cm beds upstairs, a 140 cm sofa bed on the ground floor, and a baby cot.
Are linen and cleaning included?
They are added to the nightly rate: €80 cleaning per stay, and €15 per person per stay for household linen (sheets, towels, bathrobes). The price shown when booking includes them.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 4 pm, on your own with a key box. Check-out is by 10 am.
What is the minimum stay?
Two nights, and longer during school holidays. The booking calendar shows the minimum for your dates.
How does payment work?
30% when you book, by card on a secure page. The balance is charged automatically 30 days before arrival; if you book less than 30 days ahead, the full amount is paid straight away.
Can I cancel?
Yes, free of charge up to 30 days before arrival: everything you have paid is refunded. The full terms are in the rental conditions.
Is the house suitable for children and babies?
Yes: two travel cots, a high chair, a changing table, a baby bath, a bottle warmer, safety gates and window guards. Outside, swings, a slide and a hut; inside, a child-safe games room.
Can we come by bike or electric car?
Yes. The house is Accueil Vélo certified: locked garage, washing point and repair kit. An EV charging point is available (€0.50 per kWh).
